ABOUT THE CHILDREN’S CENTER
The flagship project under this strategic plan is the construction of the ACK Christ Church Westlands Children’s Center; a modern facility that provides a conducive environment and the necessary infrastructure for youth and children to learn, engage and grow in their faith.
The project is anticipated to take 10 months to complete and will cost about KSh 50Million*
Upgrading our current infrastructure will enable us to upgrade our Church Office, kitchen and ablution blocks, set up modern meeting spaces to optimize interaction of the various Ministries, youth and children groups, have dedicated counseling rooms to cater to the spiritual and emotional nourishment of our community, and construct a modern restaurant for nourishment of the physical kind.
The amount we need to raise is KSh 50M, and we encourage anyone interested in supporting to do so.

An upgrade to our current facilities will provide the children with a better learning environment and thus motivate them more as they pursue their studies. It will also enable the church to get better facilities for different church ministries, church offices among others.
Contributions are welcome from anyone, whether a member of ACK Christ Church Westlands or not

Finances will be required across the entire 30-month course of the project – please indicate your proposed payment plan on the pledge form.
The official launch of the project was held on the 10th of July, 2021 at the Children’s Centre Fundraising Launch Breakfast held at the Sankara Hotel, Westlands.
While most aspects of the day-to-day parish operation (parking, office space, kitchen and ablution facilities) will be affected, alternative temporary facilities have been considered and will be availed as and when required.
Our goal is to raise Kes 50M towards creating a welcoming place where we can worship, learn, grow and inspire future generations to do the same.
The project is expected to take 30 months to complete and be ready for occupation.
The Development Committee in conjunction with the contractor and Consultants will from time to time update the working protocols.
Information will be shared regularly on during the church services and also across the various church communication platforms available.
